Overview
Born and raised in Miami, Thomas Falcon joined Walton Lantaff in 1999 and has since grown into his role as a trusted and service-oriented Senior Partner. His academic path began at Christopher Columbus High School, continued through a Bachelor of Science in Communications from the University of Miami (1993) and culminated in a Juris Doctor from DePaul University College of Law (1996). Today, he focuses primarily on workers’ compensation defense, specializing in representation of self-insured companies, governmental entities, carriers, and uninsured employers. His areas of expertise otherwise extend into labor, employment and real estate law. The son of Cuban immigrants, Mr. Falcon is fluent in both Spanish and English.
Dignity, development and defense – these are the tenets that define Mr. Falcon in both personal and professional contexts. In practice, Mr. Falcon thrives in a collaborative legal sector, enjoying the variety of his caseload and the close-knit network of attorneys, clients and judges he often works alongside. Mr. Falcon is a conscious and grounded legal expert, understanding the individual nature of each client’s story and that every decision ripples far beyond its executor. Were he not an attorney, Mr. Falcon would pursue a career in teaching, driven by the same innate instinct to empower, inform and mentor others. At home, he is a committed community member and philanthropist, loyally dedicating his time to organizations that aid and empower the underserved. He currently serves as president of the Kiwanis Club of Little Havana, where he works to uplift Hispanic youth in Miami-Dade County through education, community engagement, and fundraising. A subtle reminder of his values and service hangs in his office – walls adorned with posters and paintings celebrating his organization.
As your attorney, Mr. Falcon promises honest advocacy and results-driven legal representation. More than just a legal mind, Mr. Falcon leads with integrity and acts with intention. He is a trusted advisor and steadfast advocate, never losing sight of the people at the heart of every case.
