Overview
After relocating from Natchitoches, Louisiana, to Coral Gables in 1987, Ms. Brodermann began her tenure at Walton Lantaff Schroeder & Carson, LLP in 1999 and was later elevated to partner in 2008. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree at Northwestern State University in Natchitoches, finishing magna cum laude with an emphatic interest in European history. She completed her legal studies education at Southern University School of Law in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, where she graduated cum laude, earned Dean’s List honors and contributed to the Law Review. Ms. Brodermann became licensed to practice law in the State of Louisiana in 1984 and the State of Florida in 1986. Since then, she has handled administrative hearings throughout numerous jurisdictions across the state. Her abilities are highlighted through her membership in the Florida Bar Workers’ Compensation Section and Cuban American Bar Association, as well as her AV Preeminent Rating from Martindale-Hubbell, indicating the esteem with which her peers and colleagues hold her. Her practice centers on the representation of employers, carriers and contractors in workers’ compensation matters and insurance litigation. Born in Havana, Cuba, Ms. Brodermann speaks both Spanish and English.
Previous to becoming a practicing attorney, Ms. Brodermann worked in a pharmacy, an experience which would spur lasting intrigue with the medical side of workers’ compensation law. Ms. Brodermann’s fascination with medical terminology and detail drives her commitment to addressing the full implications borne of legal actions involving injured workers. Outside of the office, Ms. Brodermann lives a vibrant life. An avid reader, open-eyed traveller, film fanatic and lover of fine dining, Ms. Brodermann balances her joy for life with a conscientious, health-driven lifestyle, grounded in holistic wellbeing.
